Old Man in the Middle

I can’t find the reference, but I read that Condi told the BC graduates that both conservatives and liberal should seek out and listen to the ideas of the opposite side. I think she stole the idea from that great blogger who publishes as ‘A man in the arena’.

I was sympathetic to the illegal immigrants from Mexico. I think I was influenced by the propaganda that they are filling jobs not wanted by our citizens and that they were paying taxes. Last weekend while attending a family wedding in western New York, I watched a news report of illegal’s being arrested at a nursery (plants and things). They were all on forged paper. They are on their way back to Mexico. The wake up call for me was from comments from a competing nursery owner indicating that he was happy that the laws were now being enforced and that he would now be able to compete on a level playing field.

Too bad our Politicians don't protect National Security information the way the FBI agents used a special team "to minimize the likelihood that any potentially politically sensitive" items were removed when searching Jefferson's office.
